All the produce we provide to you is certified organic. That means we use sustainable practices which build the health of the soil and promote biodiversity, leaving a legacy of true wealth for the future. Organic certification is your assurance that your food has been grown and handled with the strict standards and procedures of the USDA’s National Organic Program.
Each week, you will receive a changing selection produce available during that season. Spring shares include things like greens, beets, herbs, chard, salad mix, parsnips, and maple syrup. With 18 weeks of opportunity, summer has the widest range of vegetables available. Your options vary from beans, kale, tomatoes, broccoli, lettuce, peppers, onions, herbs, chard, and more. Fall continues right after our summer share to bring you produce like cabbage, potatoes, spinach, greens, garlic, and winter squash.
Refer to chart below for a general idea of when certain items may be available. If any of these are unfamiliar to you, have no fear, the Local Harvest recipe book is here!
